A C# .NET, API Front Office Developer is needed to join a primary Front Office, C#.Net, API Development team within the Energy Markets. You will be joining a highly regarded energy trading firm operating across global markets, combining modern technology with deep industry expertise. Opportunities like this are rare, and they are keen to onboard C#.Net engineers with up to 6 years experience with strong technical C# .NET, API, Back-end Services experience.

This C#.Net, API Front Office Development team utilises forward-thinking analytical strategies alongside strong technical capabilities to enhance and expand their trading portfolio. They build the foundations that enable business flow across the entire company and sit at the centre of decisions impacting both current operations and future growth. The team works closely with key stakeholders and quants to develop cutting-edge technologies that power the business.

As a C#.Net, API Front Office Developer within an Energy Trading firm, you will contribute to the development of C#.Net API, trading platforms, build data models, and work directly with both Quants and Quantitative Developers. C#.Net, API Role Details

Up to £60,000 + 20–30% Bonus + Benefits

Tech Stack: C# | .NET | Azure | Kafka

3 days per week in the office (Hybrid)

Closest stations: Liverpool Street, Bank, Moorgate

As a C#.Net, API Software Developer, you will:

Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing desktop tools developed by the Quantitative Development team.
Collaborate closely with the business to gather, clarify, and define requirements for supported systems and tools.
Apply technology in a pragmatic and flexible manner, aligning solutions with the company’s broader technical strategy.
Support the Production Operations team with testing, deployments, rollouts, and ongoing production support.
Partner with Quantitative Analytics and Quantitative C#.Net Development teams on model integration, performance optimisation, issue tracking, and the delivery of robust, complex technical solutions.

What You’ll Need:

A degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline.
Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET development.
Practical experience working with Azure (cloud services, deployments, or infrastructure exposure).
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software development best practices.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
