Your Impact
This role plays a key role in safeguarding the integrity and accessibility of Newmont’s data. In this role, you’ll help ensure our data meets the highest quality standards by following strong data‑management practices and keeping an eye on emerging technology trends. You’ll work closely with our AI/ML and Digital Enablement teams to turn data into meaningful insights—building predictive models, solving complex challenges, and uncovering patterns within large datasets. Your work will directly support strategic initiatives, strengthen operational efficiency, and help Newmont maintain a competitive edge in the mining industry
As Part of Our Team, You Will
Conducting Data Analysis and Interpretation examining extensive datasets to recognize trends, patterns, and valuable insights that can guide business decisions and support strategic endeavors effectively.
Develop, evaluate, and enhance predictive models and machine learning algorithms to tackle unique business obstacles and enhance operational effectiveness in a professional manner.
Work closely with various business units to comprehend their specific data requirements and provide customized solutions through collaboration with stakeholders.
Gathering and Preparing Data: The process involves gathering, cleansing, and preparing data from diverse sources to guarantee its quality and dependability for subsequent analysis and model creation.
Develop visualizations and reports to efficiently convey insights and discoveries to stakeholders, aiding data-informed decision-making processes in a professional manner.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
Experience in similar roles within digital enablement, analytics, or operational improvement
Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support decision‑making
Ability to create dashboards and digital tools that provide leaders with real‑time visibility
Skilled at simplifying technical data into practical recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders
Strong data storytelling skills to communicate findings in a compelling and actionable way
Ability to align data‑driven initiatives with business goals to ensure value creation
Commitment to continuously improving processes based on insights and performance metrics
Experience collaborating closely with operational teams to develop solutions tailored to their needs

You will work within Newmont’s global Digital organization, partnering with project managers, IT teams, Finance, and business stakeholders.
The role operates in a dynamic, global environment supporting multiple initiatives at varying stages of delivery.
