Job Specifications

Position: Computer & Information Systems Manager

Type: Part-time

Compensation: $31 - $200/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage end-to-end computer and information systems solutions aligned with organizational objectives
Lead and mentor IT professionals to foster continuous improvement and innovation
Oversee system security, data integrity, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements and actionable projects
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and vendors to enhance system capabilities
Develop and maintain documentation, policies, procedures, and disaster recovery processes
Ensure effective communication across teams, providing updates and technical guidance

Requirements

Expertise in managing complex computer and information systems within medium to large-scale organizations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead cross-functional IT teams and manage multiple projects concurrently
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and cybersecurity best practices
Experience developing IT strategies aligned with business goals
Background in IT governance, compliance, and risk management
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
Industry certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or ITIL preferred
Experience managing remote teams in global or distributed environments preferred
