We’re supporting a highly PE-backed Professional Services organisation building cloud-native, AI-enabled applications within tax advisory.

This is a hands-on engineering role sitting within a cross-functional delivery squad. You'll be building backend APIs and deploying them into a modern AWS + Kubernetes environment.



• Building backend APIs in Python (FastAPI ideally)

• Working with PostgreSQL

• Deploying services into AWS (EKS preferred)

• Managing container workloads in Kubernetes

• Building infrastructure with Terraform

• Implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD)

• Shipping production-grade cloud-native applications

Strong Python backend development experience

API development (FastAPI highly desirable)

Solid SQL / PostgreSQL knowledge

AWS experience (EKS ideal)

Kubernetes deployment experience

Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

CI/CD automation experience

Nice to have:

Experience building GenAI applications or working with LLMs
