About Klyk
At Klyk, we're on a mission to eliminate waste from the business technology ecosystem. As a certified B Corp, we help modern companies adopt a Circular IT model — reducing cost, carbon emissions, and operational complexity across their entire device lifecycle.
We provide IT asset management, sustainable hardware procurement, IT support services, cyber security, and strategic advisory. Our customers include some of the UK's most impactful and high-growth organisations — including B Lab UK, Wild, THIS, SURI, and Field Energy.
What makes us different: We're building a technology-enabled MSP from the ground up. With our in-house software development team, we're not just delivering IT services — we're building the platform and tooling that powers them. This means smarter automation, better customer experiences, and operational efficiency that traditional MSPs can't match. You'll be joining at an exciting time where technology and service delivery come together to create something truly innovative.
The Role
We're looking for a talented Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing MSP team. You'll be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Microsoft-based infrastructure across our portfolio of customers, playing a key role in delivering the reliable, secure, and scalable IT environments our clients depend on.
This isn't just a traditional infrastructure role. You'll work closely with our in-house software development team, contributing insights that shape the automation and platform tooling that powers our service delivery — helping us build an MSP that operates smarter than the rest.
What we're looking for
Proven experience in an infrastructure, systems, or cloud engineering role within an MSP or B2B technology services environment - min 4+ years experience
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure — IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, and cost management
Solid experience managing Microsoft 365 tenants including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
Proficiency with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration and lifecycle management
Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell
Experience with endpoint management via Microsoft Intune or MECM/SCCM
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g. Veeam, Azure Site Recovery)
A security-first mindset with awareness of cyber security best practices in an MSP context
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage multiple customer environments simultaneously
Microsoft certifications (e.g. AZ-104, MS-102, AZ-305) are desirable but not essential
What you'll do
Design, implement, and manage Microsoft-based infrastructure across a portfolio of MSP customers
Administer Azure environments including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services
Manage Microsoft 365 tenant configurations, security policies, and service health across customer accounts
Maintain and support Active Directory and Entra ID environments, including hybrid identity and conditional access
Deploy and manage endpoint solutions using Microsoft Intune, ensuring devices are secure and compliant
Monitor infrastructure health and proactively resolve issues before they impact customers
Lead patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management across server and client environments
Support backup and disaster recovery processes, ensuring customer RTO/RPO targets are met
Collaborate with the Service Desk and Customer Success Managers to ensure seamless service delivery
Contribute technical input to customer QBRs, roadmap planning, and infrastructure improvement recommendations
Work with our in-house software development team to help shape automation and platform tooling that improves operational efficiency
Maintain clear, accurate documentation of customer environments, configurations, and change records
Participate in an on-call rota to support business-critical systems outside of core hours
