Klépierre’s Real Estate & Project Management corporate team develops strategy and provides operational support to all shopping centers in the areas of maintenance investment (support, validation & follow-up), compliance (structural & technical installations of a shopping center building), sustainability (energy, water & waste consumption, but also carbon footprint & certification) and development (design and execution follow-up of development projects).

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Engineering Compliance Intern will work directly with the Group Building & Project Management Director and Engineering & Compliance Project Manager.

The Intern may be travelling to the different territories of the group to better understand Compliance / Facility Management / CapEx / Sustainable Building analyses / Development projects definition and execution, always accompanied by a HQ team representative(s).

Missions will focus on but won’t be limited to:

Technical & maintenance Standards: Equipment in the shopping center.

Collect and analyze data & feedback from Klépierre’s Engineering teams and external specialized companies.
Analyze feedbacks based on use cases (Site visits & Projects review)
Create an action plan to improve current processes based on the team’s collaboration

Engineering Compliance: Local & Internal engineering regulations.

Analyze compliance data & KPIs to identify weak points and best practices.
Follow up the deployment of the Corporate’s new compliance process according to the roadmap.
Support engineering teams on the deployment if needed and understand each country’s specifications and special cases

Collaboration and Contribution to Cross-functional Operational and Strategic Projects.

Link equipment status in KOMPLY with Building Scoring.
Help create synergies between various business application tools.

Contribution to the group’s real estate development projects.

Actively participate in the definition and planning phases of real estate development projects, bringing both rigor and creativity
Develop and update internal benchmarks and technical checklists to effectively support local teams in building their budgets and conducting their negotiations.
Contribute to the completion of the final project review as part of a continuous improvement approach.

REQUIRED PROFILE

Education

5th year Engineering (Final or Gap Year internship)
Or Master 2 Student
Or Master 1 Student

Knowledge and Technical Skills

Advanced English (B2); knowledge of additional languages is a plus;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Power BI, and project management tools;
Strong interest in data and digital tools;
Familiarity with building technical systems;
Knowledge of European equipment and safety standards and regulations would be a plus;

Skills

Knowledge in technical installations of a building.
Mastery of the Office pack: Excel (expert level), Powerpoint (intermediate) and Power BI (beginner).

Personal Quality

Strong oral and written communication skills;
Agility and the ability to summarize complex topics;
Proactive and forward-thinking mindset;
Teamwork skills and ability to coordinate a network;
Autonomy and rigor to ensure full compliance;
Good listening skills to understand field teams' concerns and needs.

Possible work travel to the shopping centers or HQ in the different countries of the portfolio.
