Full Stack Engineer (React / Python)

London | Hybrid

Base salary up to £170,000

Our client is a well-funded AI technology company that is building enterprise software used by major global financial institutions. Their platform focuses on automating complex analytical workflows using modern AI and software engineering, helping organisations turn previously manual processes into scalable digital systems.

Following a significant recent funding round and rapid global adoption of their platform, they are expanding their engineering team in London.

The Role

They are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer who enjoys building high-quality products across both frontend and backend systems. You will work closely with senior engineers and company leadership to design and deliver features used by large enterprise clients.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute across the full technology stack — from user interfaces through to APIs, data infrastructure, and cloud deployment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Developing modern frontend applications using React and Next.js
Building backend services and APIs (Python-based environments preferred)
Designing scalable systems that support enterprise-grade workloads
Working closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ship new features
Contributing to cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and system performance
Implementing testing, monitoring, and automation across the development lifecycle
Supporting engineering standards and collaborating with other developers

What They’re Looking For

5+ years of software engineering experience
Strong frontend experience with React / Next.js
Backend development experience (Python or similar languages)
Experience working with databases and API architecture
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure) and containerised infrastructure
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
Strong problem-solving ability and a product-focused mindset

Nice to Have

Experience with background processing systems or task queues
Familiarity with caching or messaging tools such as Redis
Exposure to infrastructure tooling like Docker or Kubernetes
