How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice:

As the Vice President of Planning, you will lead the continuous delivery and improvement of Paula’s Choice global supply, demand, and inventory management. You will own end-to-end demand and supply planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), inventory strategy, and supplier performance across global DTC, retail, and marketplace businesses. You’ll partner closely with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, Quality, IT, and Product Development leaders to ensure we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time, aligned to customer service, lead-time, quality, cost, inventory, cash, and net working capital targets. You will lead, manage, and develop a remote team of supply, demand and inventory

planners and managers. Key metrics for this position include customer service, in-stock, lead-times, inventory days on hand and dollars, supplier on-time in full, SLOB/write-offs, and people engagement.

As VP of Supply Chain Planning, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

Strategic Leadership: Design and implement global demand, supply, and inventory strategy and execution plans that deliver business objectives, enable new product launches, and support growth.
S&OP Leadership: Drive, own, and implement an end-to-end S&OP process, aligning commercial plans, financial targets, and operational capacity. Facilitate monthly S&OP cycles that unify demand, supply, inventory, and financial data into a single business plan; evolve S&OP maturity as the business grows. Partner with commercial teams to ensure a robust sales forecast translated into a meaningful demand forecast and executable demand/supply plans with documented assumptions and risks; report forecast accuracy.
Inventory Planning & Management: Establish inventory strategies that optimize working capital while protecting service levels across channels and geographies. Define and govern safety stock policies, replenishment parameters, and slow/obsolete (SLOB) protocols. Improve inventory turns and provide clear visibility into inventory health and risk; own quarterly inventory review analysis and presentations to the CFO, CEO, and SVP of Global Operations.
Supplier Management: Develop and nurture relationships with key suppliers to achieve quality, reduced lead times, and on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery at optimal cost. Report quarterly on inventory accuracy, liabilities, OTIF, and improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Procurement and Quality on supplier performance, lead-time reduction, cost management, risk mitigation, material liabilities, and vendor onboarding/off-boarding.
Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement to enhance supply chain efficiency. Streamline workflows, reduce manual work, shorten lead times, lower costs/volatility, and improve forecast accuracy and planning cycle times.
Sustainability: Integrate sustainability objectives into supply chain operations to reduce carbon footprint and waste while promoting ethical practices and lower environmental impact.
Risk Management: Proact
