Content & Community Manager - Sips (Freelance)

Sips is a design-led lifestyle brand reimagining everyday essentials through style, self-expression, and thoughtful design. Our signature flat water bottle is made to be seen, carried, and talked about – not hidden away.

We’re looking for a Freelance Content & Community Manager to own how SIPS shows up day to day across social platforms and to help us build a genuine, engaged following around the brand.

The role

This is a hands-on role combining content strategy, content creation, and community engagement.

You’ll be responsible for shaping Sips' content narrative, creating high-quality short-form content, and actively engaging with our audience to build connection, loyalty, and momentum. You’ll work closely with the Founder and our wider marketing partners to ensure the brand feels consistent, relevant, and culturally tuned-in.

What you’ll do

Content & Strategy

Own and evolve SIPS’ content strategy across Instagram and TikTok
Define and execute clear content pillars rooted in lifestyle, self-expression, and design
Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring consistency and quality

Content Creation

Create high-quality short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, carousels)
Capture and edit content in real-world environments – gyms, cafés, studios, workspaces, events
Maintain a strong visual and storytelling standard across all outputs

Founder-Led Storytelling

Work closely with the Founder to develop authentic, founder-led content
Support behind-the-scenes, product development, and brand journey storytelling
Help translate the Founder’s experience into engaging, relatable content

Community Engagement

Actively engage with the SIPS community through comments, DMs, and interactions
Foster conversation, loyalty, and a sense of belonging around the brand
Use community insight to inform and improve content direction

Cultural Awareness & Collaboration

Stay up to date with social trends and platform shifts, applying them selectively and on-brand
Support PR moments, partnerships, and brand activations with strong content
Collaborate with PR and partnerships teams to ensure content alignment

About you

2–5 years’ experience in content, social, or brand marketing
Strong short-form video skills (shooting and editing)
A sharp eye for aesthetics, styling, and storytelling
Comfortable working closely with founders and small teams
Naturally engaged online and enjoys interacting with communities
Tuned into lifestyle, fashion, beauty, or wellness culture

Remote

Freelance (20-25 hours per week)

Hourly Rate: £20
