Job Specifications

Our client, a major Oil and Gas company, is looking for a Civil QA to join their team on a 1-year contract in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

Scope:

Perform regular surveillance of the General and Rail Contractor’s Quality Control (QC) activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and design requirements.
Monitor grading, subgrade preparation, and structural fill placement. Ensure testing is completed in accordance with project requirements.
Supporting and inspect the installation of ballast, ties, and rail components.
Witness pours for terminal foundations, containment areas, and sleepers; verify mix designs and ambient temperature protection.
Review and sign off ITPs, QC Checksheets and Final Turnover Packages.

Work Experience:

8–10 years of experience in civil construction, specifically within the Alberta energy sector and/or large civil and rail projects.
Familiarity with civil and rail regulations and regulatory bodies
Previous experience representing an owner/operator is highly preferred
Preference to someone with CET of ALS certification related to the civil disciplines.
