CONTRACT: 6 months

START DATE: ASAP

SETUP: Hybrid, 3 days/week in office, downtown Toronto

Responsibilities

Supporting the accounting and finance operations for assigned accounts
Prepare journal entries in the accounting system
Preparing reconciliations in relation to specific client accounts
Process claims, review contracts, and follow up on outstanding items
Ensure timely processing of reinsurance receipts and payments
Assisting with month end related tasks

About You

5+ years of general accounting experience
Experience in the Insurance or Reinsurance industry
Must be proficient dealing with / reconciling large volumes of data
Experience in insurance operations; contract administration, claims, treaties etc.
