2026 Summer Intern
Location:
This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working from the following location: 4460 Hacienda Drive, Building A, Pleasanton, CA 94588.
Department Details
Contribute to building and enhancing software solutions through hands-on development, testing, and documentation, working closely with Tech Lead and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, supportable applications.
Internship Projects
Assist in translating Value-based Care Platform business and functional requirements into technical designs and code modules under the guidance of senior engineers.
Develop, configure, and/or modify software components to support new features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
Create and execute unit tests to validate functionality and identify defects early in the development cycle.
Support integration testing and user acceptance testing by helping with triage, fixes, and test coverage updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product, architecture, QA, operations) to deliver solutions that are scalable, reliable, and supportable.

Computer Science; Data Science; Math/Statistics
Target Skillset
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript) and strong CS fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms)
Working knowledge of Git/version control (branching, pull requests)
Ability to write clean, maintainable code with attention to quality and basic secure coding practices
Familiarity with unit testing concepts and willingness to test and validate your work
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
Comfort working in an Agile/iterative delivery model (sprints, standups, incremental delivery)
