Position: Computer & Information Systems Manager Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Role Responsibilities

Direct daily IT operations, analyze workflows, set priorities, and ensure timely project delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and department leaders to resolve technical challenges
Oversee project planning and coordinate the work of systems analysts, programmers, and IT professionals
Develop and implement data security, disaster recovery, and strategic computing policies
Provide technical support and training to ensure seamless system operations
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend system improvements aligned with organizational goals
Support AI training initiatives through strong infrastructure and technology management

Requirements

Expertise in database systems such as Apache Cassandra, MongoDB, NoSQL platforms, and Oracle PL/SQL
Proficiency with AWS, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Blackboard, and related query tools
Experience with development environments including Apache Maven, Eclipse IDE, .NET Framework, and Visual Studio
Knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle PeopleSoft, and SAP
Strong understanding of web platform development and cloud-based architectures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and technical teams in fast-paced environments
