Key Responsablities
Institutional & External Relations
Support outreach and relationship management with museums, foundations, art institutions, and cultural organizations
Assist in maintaining relationships with collectors, patrons, and strategic partners
Research potential collaborations, funding opportunities, and institutional partnerships
Prepare materials for institutional presentations, proposals, and partnership discussions
Artist Management & Career Development
Assist in coordinating the professional development and strategic positioning of artists
Support preparation of career development plans, exhibition strategies, and project opportunities
Help manage artist communications, schedules, and opportunities
Maintain artist portfolios, bios, and professional documentation, including their records on online platforms/websites
Artist Business & Market Support
Assist with tracking artist opportunities, exhibitions, and collaborations
Support coordination with galleries, curators, and institutions
Help organize information related to artist projects, proposals, and partnerships
Research & Strategic Support
Conduct research on art institutions, collectors, foundations, and cultural programs
Monitor opportunities for exhibitions, residencies, grants, and partnerships
Support preparation of internal strategy materials and project documentation
Requirements
Background in Arts Management, Art History, Cultural Studies, Communications, Business, or related fields
Strong interest in artist representation, cultural partnerships, and the contemporary art ecosystem
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Curious about how artists build sustainable international careers
Familiarity with or contacts within the art world (institutions, galleries, museums, collectors) is a strong plus
Proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and in a team
Strong communication skills with experience in writing press releases, public relations, and media relations
Proficient analytical skills to assess data, evaluate opportunities, and provide strategic insights

Direct exposure to artist career development and art world strategy
Insight into relationships between artists, collectors, institutions, and foundations
Hands-on experience with cultural partnerships and artist management
Mentorship within an international creative network
Opportunity to develop real industry experience in the art sector
Outcome of Internship
Duration: 3–6 months (flexible)
Location: Hybrid / Remote collaboration possible, with travel opportunities to Spain, Switzerland
Start Date: 1 April 2026
Compensation: Depending on program or academic requirements
