On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Solutions Architect - Azure Cloud Migration for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Solutions Architect - Azure Cloud Migration - Job Description:

As a Senior Solutions Architect in Enterprise Solution Design, you will be working on multiple projects, focusing on Azure cloud migration and infrastructure design. The role involves delivering world-class solutions in support of business strategies, through a combination of in-house systems development and collaboration with leading technology partners.

Senior Solutions Architect - Azure Cloud Migration - Responsibilities:

• Provide infrastructure design viewpoint in relation to the Enterprise for service integration activities.

• Design solutions including platform selection, data management, disaster recovery, and migration approach.

• Analyze processes, projects, and technical risk, and estimate project work effort for new technologies.

• Build solution designs integrating business logic, processes, and data to business requirements.

• Guide the Solution Delivery Team in implementing infrastructure solution designs.

• Collaborate with key business and Technology partners for Technology Operations and Application Development projects.

• Serve as a focal point for escalations on major technical issues.

Senior Solutions Architect - Azure Cloud Migration - Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in Solution designing – 10 years

• Experience with Cloud Azure – 5+ years

• Unix – Solaris and Redhat Linux experience – 5 years

• System management experience – 5 years

• Experience with Network, hardware, Storage and system utilities – 3+ years

• J2ee and .net experience – 3+ years

Senior Solutions Architect - Azure Cloud Migration – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Banking Experience

• Cognos, SAS, and Informatica

• AI Certification

Senior Solutions Architect - Azure Cloud Migration – Assignment Length:

This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid with onsite work required every Tuesday.
