Hiring: IT Healthcare Consultant – Business Analyst (Advanced)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) operations team. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to support legacy MMIS systems, reporting, analytics, testing, and operational coordination.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Act as liaison between business programs and IT teams
Support MMIS operational activities, reporting, and analytics
Work with Medicaid claims, provider enrollment, and eligibility systems
Perform UAT testing and document defects
Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders
Monitor and escalate operational issues

Required Experience:

1+ year experience supporting MMIS legacy systems
1+ year experience working Medicaid claims & provider operations
Experience with Medicaid eligibility/enrollment systems
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), Jira, SharePoint
