Senior PMO Analyst | FX Trading House - IT | Up to £800pd | Inside IR35 | Hybrid LDN
Senior PMO needed for a renowned FX Trading house, working across the Front, middle & back office, you will get exposure to a variety of Projects, products & be an integral part of driving & reporting back on performance measurements & impact.
As a senior PMO you will be integral to a multi-year initiative to modernise a FX trading client's technology landscape. Leveraging cutting-edge, cloud-based technologies, the aim is to drive growth, enhance profitability, and manage change effectively.
Owning the PMO of the Transformation end-to-end
Raise the bad on governance, contros, and delivery maturity
Work autonomously with confidence to challenge & continuously improve how the programme is run
Clear ownership of governance, RAID, financial tracking, Jira maturity, and stakeholder management
The firm are seeking a senior PMO, which is a brand-new role, therefore as a senior PMO, you will have the chance to make the opportunity your own, working closely with the Head of IT Delivery & Senior devliery managers, in an autonomous manner.
The firm are going through an exciting Technology Evolution including;
Upgrading new off-the-shelf trading platforms
Onboarding brand new products & trading line to their trading portfolio
Automating their testing estate for more efficient and better quality releases
Implementing brand new up to date technologies & upgrades
This Senior PMO role provides high-visibility oversight of portfolio performance, governance, and delivery across a complex IT environment.
As a senior PMO you will lead the delivery of high-quality portfolio reporting, KPIs, and executive insights, with a strong focus on accuracy and continuous improvement. A key focus is designing automated reporting solutions, including advanced Power BI dashboards using JIRA data. You will partner with delivery teams to maintain a clear IT portfolio view, support Agile reporting, track progress and RAID, and translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders.
Details of the senior PMO role:
Up to £800pd INSIDE IR35
Nearest stations: Liverpool Street, St Pauls, Bank
3 days per week onsite, Hybrid
6 months rolling - long term programme of work
Experience with: Working in an Agile environment, Excel Automation, Power BI, Software development lifecycle exposure. Having worked in a fast paced, regulated, financial services environment.
Key Skill required for the senior PMO role:
Advanced Power BI, Excel Automation & data visualisation – proven experience designing and enhancing automated, executive-level dashboards, with a strong focus on clarity, accuracy, and insight. Comfortable working with complex datasets, particularly JIRA, to deliver meaningful management information.
Portfolio & PMO reporting expertise – strong understanding of IT portfolio management, including Book of Work maintenance, KPI development, progress tracking, RAID management, and delivery assurance across multiple workstreams.
Agile delivery & tooling knowledge – hands-on experience supporting Agile delivery reporting, interpreting sprint and programme-level metrics, and partnering with delivery teams to provide consistent and transparent portfolio views.
Analytical & insight-driven mindset – able to identify trends, risks, dependencies, and emerging issues, and translate complex data into concise, decision-ready insights for senior stakeholders.
Senior stakeholder engagement – confident working with Delivery Managers, Heads of Department, and IT leadership, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively, and drive improvements to reporting and governance standards.
Process improvement & automation focus – proactive in improving reporting processes, increasing automation, and raising the overall quality and consistency of portfolio and governance reporting.
