Job Specifications

REQUIREMENT

Position: Sr. System Engineer

Location: Austin, TX - Onsite (Only Locals)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Linux system administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
Hands-on experience with Azure/AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, VPC, Azure VM, Azure Storage, etc.).
Familiar with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
Understanding of networking fundamentals, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, ELK stack).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to documentation, process improvement, and operational excellence

Preferred Certifications:

AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
Linux Certified: Azure Administrator or DevOps Engineer Expert.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Experience in chaos engineering, capacity modeling, or SRE tooling.
