The Role
Working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment, our developers design, code, and test customized IT solutions using emerging technologies, modern software delivery tools, frameworks, and deployment methodologies. In this client-facing consulting role, you will work as a Quartech representative, collaborating on various projects with cross-functional teams.
Location: Hybrid (based in Los Angeles)
Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Level: Intermediate
Salary: $125,000 – $135,000 annually
In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Developing software applications based on design specifications in accordance with applicable standards.
Incrementally designing, developing, testing, debugging, and deploying IT products using modern software delivery tools, frameworks, and deployment methods.
Implementing APIs and integrating services with existing applications.
Creating and executing unit and integration tests and prioritizing defect fixes.
Working collaboratively on an Agile development team across a range of projects using a structured development process.
Participating in team reviews, including functional specification, technical design, and code review meetings.
Effectively managing scope and client expectations on individual assignments.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
6+ years of experience using multiple modern backend frameworks, languages, and tools (e.g., .NET / .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework).
Strong knowledge and experience with modern frontend frameworks, languages, and tools (e.g., ASP.NET, Ionic Framework, Angular, JavaScript, CSS).
Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, Redis, and MongoDB.
Experience developing, testing, investigating, refactoring, and consuming custom RESTful APIs and web services.
Exposure to application deployment automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and/or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with containers and container platforms such as OpenShift, as well as cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
A collaborative team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Java, WebSphere, configuration management, and Windows environments.
ETL and/or Power BI experience is considered a nice to have.
