Java Backend Full Stack Engineer | Westlake, TX | Hybrid | $44 - $53/hr

The Role

Lead the design and integration of robust, enterprise-grade applications using Java 1.8/J2EE and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
Drive platform modernization by migrating legacy systems to scalable Microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
Tackle complex full-stack challenges, bridging the gap between back-end Java services and modern UI frameworks like Angular 14+.
Implement critical business logic using Apache Struts and Hibernate while ensuring high-performance database interactions.
Collaborate in a dynamic Agile squad to deliver high-quality, maintainable code through CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

What You'll Need

5+ years of professional experience in Full Stack development building scalable, enterprise-level applications.
Deep expertise in Java 1.8/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and a strong command of Apache Struts (Critical).
Proven track record with REST/SOAP Web Services and designing Microservices architecture for high-traffic environments.
Hands-on experience with Messaging Technologies and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and JUnit for robust application testing.
Solid understanding of Cloud technologies (Azure preferred) and RDBMS/SQL databases for large-scale migrations.
