Job Specifications

Airswift is looking for a Project Manager to support a major client in New Braunfels, TX on 12-month contract

The Project Manager will report to the Operations Manager to support on the planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Responsibilities

Review project proposal or plan to determine:
Time frame
Funding limitations
Procedures for accomplishing project
Staffing requirements
Allotment of available resources to various phases
Confer with project staff to:
Outline workplan
Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure:
Project progresses on schedule
Project stays within prescribed budget
Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required
Prepare project reports for management, client, or others

Requirements

Education/Experience:
Four-year college or university program certificate; or
Two to four years related experience/training; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project management
Experience managing projects with budgets over $10 million
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals
Ability to present and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and general public
Mathematical Skills:
Probability and statistical inference
Geometry and trigonometry
Fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite
Scheduling software
