Language Advantage is expanding, and currently seeking French, Portuguese, Spanish and English instructors for online (and possibly on-site) positions in the Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and

Perth areas.

Language Advantage teachers come from a wide variety of backgrounds. We strive to work

with teachers who have national and international experience, and who can bring a broad

cultural background to the students' learning environment. The professional experience of our

Duties and responsibilities:

Provide high-quality instruction to adult learners in an online environment
Develop a customized language program for learners based on their language assessment results
Prepare comprehensive weekly lesson plans, monthly development plans and teaching materials tailored to the specific language and industry needs of the learners
Provide ongoing feedback to the learner and adjust the lessons and methods to meet the learner’s needs
Prepare comprehensive progress reports at the end of the program reflecting learners’ progress made against the objectives defined at the beginning of the program
Provide a safe and supportive learning environment

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching Business English, French, Portuguese or Spanish to corporate clients ( or as a foreign language) to adults.
Previous business experience in Canada and/or abroad
Bachelor's degree/Certificate in education/languages or a related field.

Technical Skills

The following technical skills at a high proficiency or otherwise stated, are required in this role:

• Office 365 applications

• Online teaching platforms and tools for the delivery of training content, including video

conferencing and interactive whiteboards
