£90,000-100,000 PA DOE

The reinsurance operations team are looking for a Reinsurance Technician to join due to the continued growth across global entities where they are needing an additional member to support the team whilst they move from manual to automated processes.

Responsibilities:

Review and approval of reinsurance contracts
Manage and process reinsurance recoveries across a range of treaty and facultative arrangements, including excess of loss and proportional programs
Review premium and claim calculations, including accounting classifications
Manage aged debt and collection and payment of recoveries.
Producing settlement details to brokers accurately and on time
Liase with claims and support with queries where needed
Provide support in executing close process and delivering key reports to internal / external stakeholders.
Assist with internal, external and reinsurance audits
Prepare reinsurance packs for finance and operations meetings

Personal Profile:

Significant experience working in a reinsurance finance and operations role, with exposure to various reinsurance treaties
Prior experience in using reinsurance systems (such as SICS, XL PRO, Clearwater Cenata)
Strong Excel
Experience in reinsurance systems
Exposure to the Lloyds market and supporting on returns (desirable)
