Job Specifications

Summary:

Title: User Experience Designer

Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension

Location: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday–Thursday; Remote Monday & Friday)

Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Under the guidance of a higher‑level designer, create user‑friendly, effective, and engaging user interfaces for mobile, tablet, and desktop applications.
Develop UI design artifacts to clearly describe the intended user experience.
Apply usability and accessibility best practices to ensure intuitive and consistent design outcomes.
Provide documentation and design support to maintain usability integrity across application systems.
Learn and contribute to the establishment of UI/UX standards, best practices, and design processes.
Research user‑centered design methodologies, innovations, and emerging trends.
Learn to identify user needs and elicit user feedback through research activities and task flow analysis.
Conduct usability testing and analyze user behavior to improve application experiences.
Synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations and share insights with the broader team.
Test and refine design decisions using user feedback and analytics.
Collaborate effectively with business partners, application development teams, and other stakeholders.
Serve as an advocate for end users by deeply understanding how audiences interact with applications.
Evangelize user experience best practices and validate conceptual designs with customers and internal teams.

Required Work Experience

Minimum of 2 years of user interface design experience

Required Technologies

Solid experience using Figma
Understanding of JavaScript‑based applications

Required Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of user experience and usability best practices and methodologies
Solid understanding of page layout and interface design principles
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, with the ability to optimize designs for these technologies
Good understanding of graphic design principles and typography
Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
Strong conceptual and problem‑solving abilities
Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs, client expectations, and technical environments

Nice to Have

JavaScript development experience
Node.js and Vue.js development experience (bonus, not required)
