Role: BI Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced BI Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and optimization of enterprise Business Intelligence solutions. This role will define the BI architecture roadmap, drive Microsoft Fabric capacity planning, enable AI-powered analytics, and ensure scalable and high‑performance reporting solutions aligned with organizational strategy.

The ideal candidate combines deep Power BI expertise with strong architectural leadership and a forward-looking perspective on BI modernization and AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities

BI Architecture & Strategy

Define and implement the enterprise BI architecture vision and roadmap.
Architect scalable solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for enterprise BI initiatives.

Microsoft Fabric & Capacity Planning

Lead Microsoft Fabric capacity and workload planning, performance optimization, and cost governance.
Monitor Fabric environments to ensure scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.
Design semantic models meeting enterprise performance standards.

Data Modeling & Analytics Design

Develop dimensional models (Star/Snowflake schema).
Implement advanced DAX and Power Query transformations.
Build scalable, reusable semantic-layer architectures.

AI Awareness & Modern Analytics

Demonstrate understanding of AI-driven BI capabilities (Copilot, predictive insights, automation).
Guide the adoption of AI-enabled reporting and intelligent analytics solutions.

Performance Optimization

Optimize datasets, reports, and dashboards for enterprise-scale performance.
Implement best practices for refresh strategies, query optimization, and dataset tuning.

Security & Governance

Implement enterprise-grade security controls including Row-Level Security (RLS).
Ensure alignment with data governance policies and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership

Partner with business leaders, data engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
Provide mentorship and leadership to BI developers and analysts.

Required Qualifications

12–15 years overall experience, including 6–7 years in BI architecture roles.
Expertise in:
Power BI (Development & Administration)
Microsoft Fabric
Advanced Data Modeling
DAX & Power Query
Strong experience in enterprise BI governance and security.
Experience integrating BI with SQL, cloud data sources, and APIs.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
