Sales Operations Manager

UK | Hybrid / Remote (depending on location)

Permanent | SaaS | SMB & Mid-Market

I’m partnering with a high-growth SaaS business to hire a Sales Operations Manager who will act as the operational backbone of their sales organisation.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll own sales systems, data, and processes — enabling sales teams to sell faster, smarter, and more efficiently across the SMB and mid-market segment.

The Role

As Sales Operations Manager, you’ll work closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to drive revenue performance. You’ll bring clarity to data, structure to processes, and scalability to the sales engine.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Operations & Analytics

Own sales reporting, forecasting, and pipeline analysis
Build and maintain dashboards tracking ARR, conversion rates, churn, ACV, and quota attainment
Identify revenue leakage and sales funnel bottlenecks, recommending data-led improvements

Sales Process & Playbooks

Design and optimise the end-to-end sales journey from lead routing to closed-won and handover
Create and maintain sales playbooks, cadences, and outreach sequences
Standardise deal stages, qualification frameworks (e.g. MEDDIC / SPICED), and CRM hygiene

Sales Tech Stack Ownership

Own and administer the sales tech stack (HubSpot, CRM, sequencing, diallers, enrichment tools)
Evaluate, implement, and retire tools based on ROI and adoption
Ensure data integrity and system integration

Quota, Territory & Capacity Planning

Partner with Finance and Sales Leadership on quota setting, territory design, and compensation plans
Model headcount, capacity, and growth scenarios

Enablement & Support

Translate operational insights into actionable enablement and coaching
Support onboarding of new sales hires into systems and processes

What They’re Looking For

3–5+ years’ experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or similar
SaaS or vertical software background (SMB and MM experience strongly preferred)
Strong HubSpot administration experience (certification a plus)
Experience working with a PE backed company

Skills & Attributes

Advanced Excel / Google Sheets; SQL or BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau) a strong plus
Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume sales environments
Strong cross-functional communicator with the ability to turn data into action
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building processes from scratch
