Job Specifications
The Analyst will serve as the primary resource for designing, coding, and testing the technical solutions that drive Power Platform integration. The resulting contract may be renewed for up to an additional three (3) years, in whole or in part, not exceeding the initial contract term.
Minimum Qualifications
Academic and Certification
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, other related field, or equivalent work experience.
Power BI Certification
Skills and Abilities
Skilled in end-to-end development of Power BI software and integrated Power Platform tools (Apps/Automate)
Skilled in working with Business Units to translate business requirements into intuitive technical designs
Skilled in Data Modeling
Skilled in DAX and M language
Skilled in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) in Power Query and enterprise tools
Skilled in testing and supporting application software and managing the secure hosting environment within network infrastructure
Proficient in data cleanup
Skilled in making critical recommendations on the development of new code versus the reuse of existing assets to maximize efficiency
Solid understanding of quality assurance and integration methodologies
Skilled in managing the technical environment required to host dashboards securely within approved infrastructures
Skilled in component and data architecture design
Skilled in developing solutions requiring analysis and research
Able to provide clear and effective training
Highly self-motivated and directed
Strong analytical, organizational leadership, and interpersonal skills

Experience
A minimum of 2 years of programming/systems analysis experience
Full Systems Life Cycle: Experience in the end-to-end development of Power BI software, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of the centralized hosting platform and integrated Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate).
Experience with Technical Integrations
Experience with Performance & Maintenance
Experience with understanding quality assurance and integration methodologies
General
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, Word
Experience with native connectors such as integrating Power BI with Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, SQL/Oracle databases, SharePoint, Salesforce, Google Analytics, APIs, custom connectors
Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experienced Toastmasters strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Full Systems Life Cycle: Responsible for the end-to-end development of the Power BI software, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of the centralized hosting platform and integrated Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate).
Technical Integration: Work closely with Business Units to translate business requirements into technical designs, aligning solutions with both Agency goals and IT strategies.
Performance & Maintenance: Beyond initial builds, responsible for testing, implementing, and supporting application software, making critical recommendations on the development of new code versus the reuse of existing assets to maximize efficiency.
Cross-Environment Skillset: Manage the technical environment required to host dashboards securely within the Agency's approved web infrastructure and participate in component and data architecture design.
Communicate consistently and effectively with the client staff, Executive Leadership, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal client resources, including Information Security Manager, Data Unit, and EDW team to ensure project completion within applicable regulatory, legal, and security requirements.
Work effectively with cross-functional business units and groups with varying functional backgrounds (operational, technical, managerial, programmatic, etc.).
Build partnerships and collaboration between individuals and project teams.
