Enterprise Architecture Consultant (AI/Automation Focus)
Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Sacramento CA
10-Month Contract
Rates may fluctuate depending on the level of experience
Key Responsibilities
• Lead tactical enterprise and solution architecture including solution intents, architecture decision records, reference architectures, and governance reviews
• Design and stand up the Enterprise Architecture Office including charter, operating model, service catalog, and engagement model with PMO and business teams
• Establish and chair architecture governance processes including review boards, standards enforcement, exception management, and technical debt oversight
• Develop and maintain business capability maps, technology roadmaps, and architectural runway aligned to portfolio strategy
• Enable enterprise data and AI governance including data architecture guardrails, migration frameworks, AI use case registry, and model risk controls
• Drive process automation across PMO and shared services using low code platforms, workflow automation, and AI assisted documentation and reporting
• Implement dashboards and reporting to track architectural compliance, portfolio health, financial performance, risk posture, and value realization
Requirements
• 15 plus years of progressive IT experience including enterprise architecture, infrastructure, enterprise data management, and business systems
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise governance models across technology procurement, cybersecurity, AI, and project integration
• Strong background in cloud platforms, integration patterns, enterprise data architecture, data migration, and SQL based environments
• Hands on experience implementing AI and automation within IT governance or PMO processes
• Proven ability to map business capabilities to technology solutions and influence executive stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• Preferred certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, Azure, or SAFe
