Miller Maxwell is recruiting on behalf of a leading electronic trading firm seeking to hire a Senior Frontend Software Engineer. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to take ownership of front‑end development across a range of high‑performance trading platforms. The successful Senior Frontend Software Engineer will work closely with front‑office traders, research teams and collaborate with experienced Java and Python developers to build high-performance systems.

As the Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will:

Develop complex front‑end applications using React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript
Build real‑time, data‑driven user interfaces for high‑performance trading systems
Collaborate with backend teams working with Java and Python
Define and maintain UI architecture, coding standards and best practices
Work directly with traders and business users to turn detailed requirements into intuitive UI solutions
Play a key role in shaping the long‑term front‑end engineering strategy

Experience required for the Senior Frontend Software Engineer:

A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or another STEM subject
Commercial experience gained within an electronic trading or high‑performance software environment
Proven production experience with React and JavaScript
GraphQL experience.
Strong knowledge of TypeScript for large‑scale applications
Experience building real‑time or data‑intensive user interfaces
Additional exposure to Java or Python
