About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Control, the role of Financial Controls Assurance Manager will be to lead in the implementation of key process improvement observations and controls as part of a risks and controls framework development. This person will need to have ambition to make a difference, need to be resilient and ready to be involved in a variety of tasks. They will need to be inquisitive and challenge current processes. This role will require implementing controls and best practice processes to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of results in accordance with the relevant accounting standards.

Skills & Experience

Qualified Chartered Accountant ACA/ACCA or other recognised international qualification
Big 4 background/experience
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley implementation
10 years of experience in industry, travel industry desirable
Experience of working in a strong controls framework environment
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
Focused on deliverables and deadlines
Ability to manage team members
Demonstrated effective written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage change in a positive manner
Self-motivated and well organised
Thorough, accurate and strong attention to detail
Strong Microsoft skills

What to expect from the recruitment process

Every hire starts with a chat with our Talent Acquisition team, if your profile is selected you will be contacted by phone or email (please check your spam folder);
Then, if you are progressing, the hiring manager will invite you to an interview, usually on Teams;
If you are successful we will invite you to our office for a final stage interview.

Wherever possible we will provide you with feedback, however we are a small team and often we won't be able to do so until after we fill the vacancy.
