Location: Greater Rensselaer Area, NY (Hybrid 2–3 days onsite)

About the role

We are seeking a Java Developer to support development and maintenance of large-scale enterprise applications. The role involves working on backend services, database queries, and application enhancements within an established development team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using Core Java / J2EE and Spring Framework
Write and optimize SQL queries for application functionality and reporting
Build and support Web Services / APIs for enterprise systems
Perform unit testing using JUnit and follow standard build processes
Troubleshoot issues and resolve defects in large-scale applications
Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements and implement solutions

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Web Services
Experience writing simple and complex SQL queries
Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications
Knowledge of Java build tools and JUnit testing
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or Associate degree with additional experience)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
