We have an outstanding Contract position for a Software Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Fort Worth, TX surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**

**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**

Job Responsibilities:

Review functional requirements and determine "Happy Path" and "Corner Case" scenarios to fully exercise the requirement.
Responsible for creating software test scripts in Python or SWAT (proprietary scripting language) to conduct safety critical qualification testing.
Perform Software Quality Testing (SQT) onsite in the labs
Create Software Test Reports and host reviews with internal and external customers.
Will work with the development team to diagnose and update scripts for software defects.
Contribute to test automation efforts by automating existing manual test cases.
Create/update automation pipelines.
Create/update Confluence Dashboards from GitLab data
Will be expected to have good oral and written communication skills.
Will be expected to flex and adapt schedule during formal test base on test station availability.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

5 years of Python Scripting Experience.
5 years of Functional test case development.
5 years of experience of software development on a Linux environment.
5 years of experience developing software in a Linux environment (SUSE or RedHat).
2 years of experience authoring software requirements.
2 years of experience with GitLab pipelines.
2 years of experience using Jira to work/track software development.
2 years of experience with Agile software development.
