Are you passionate about building reliable data pipelines and microservices? Our client, a leading organisation in the IT sector, is hiring for a talented Data Engineer to join their innovative team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge data solutions, collaborating with skilled professionals to deliver high-quality results.

What You'll Be Doing

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Containerise applications with Docker and deploy them efficiently.
Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring flows are clean, reliable, and consistent.
Optimise pipeline performance, reliability, and observability.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers to create robust data solutions.
Contribute to the architecture and design of data platforms and services.
Maintain data quality, security, and compliance across workflows.

What You'll Bring

Strong programming skills in Java.
Hands-on experience developing REST APIs or microservices with Spring Boot.
Experience containerising applications with Docker.
Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with modern data architectures (ETL/ELT, streaming, event-driven systems).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
