We’re Hiring: Accounting Analyst (Hybrid – Bolton, ON)
CARQUEST Canada is looking for a dynamic, analytical, and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team! This full-time hybrid role is based out of our Bolton, Ontario head office (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll support financial standards compliance, operational efficiency, and business decision-making by:
Consulting with Trade Vendors and internal teams globally to navigate payables and Receivables processes/policy and improve transaction efficiency
Ensuring timely, accurate, and complete Trade Vendor payables with zero holds
Preparing month-end accruals, allocations, gross margin analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
Analyzing operational performance against budgets and key metrics
Responding quickly to business unit inquiries with data-driven insights
Enhancing internal procedures to reduce errors and improve workflow efficiency
Assisting with financial forecasts, annual corporate plans, and ad-hoc reporting
Leveraging data tools to identify opportunities and support continuous improvement
Collaborating and participating as a key member of the Canada Finance team and cross-functional partners
What You Bring
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is
Exceptional with MS Office, especially advanced Excel modeling
Skilled in communication and able to articulate insights clearly
Experienced with data mining, BI/reporting tools, and financial systems (Oracle preferred)
Analytical, resourceful, and confident in decision-making
Strong at prioritizing deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities
A self-starter who excels both independently and collaboratively
Knowledgeable in P&L, balance sheets, and core financial/audit concepts
Experience
3+ years as an Accounting Analyst (Retail/CPG experience is a strong asset)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting
Working toward CPA designation (preferred)

Compensation Range: The range of expected compensation for this role is between 62,800.00 CAD and 80,000.00 CAD salary for a new team member. The rate offered to a successful candidate depends on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
