Role: Business Analyst

Rate: £450 per day

Contract: 2–3 months (possible extension)

Start Date: ASAP

Working Pattern: 5 days per week

Location: Primary location: City Hall

This role supports hybrid working, with most team members working remotely and occasional office attendance. However, candidates may be required to work onsite in Bristol depending on business needs.

Role Overview

Bristol City Council is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a review of its case management systems:

IDOX Uniform
Civica APP

The role will focus on evaluating system capabilities, gathering requirements, identifying pain points, and assessing the feasibility of migrating users from Civica APP to IDOX Uniform.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse technical specifications and define system scope
Gather and validate high-level functional requirements from stakeholders
Identify system pain points, usage patterns, and operational needs
Evaluate current systems against business requirements
Assess the feasibility of migrating Civica APP users to IDOX Uniform
Provide clear recommendations and strategic insights to support decision-making

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Business Analyst
Experience with IDOX Uniform and Civica APP
Strong ability to produce clear analytical summaries for stakeholders
Experience working within Local Authorities or Public Sector environments
