Client is seeking experienced IT QA Testers to support enterprise-level data, integration, and system testing initiatives. This role requires strong hands-on experience with data validation, system integrations, and migration testing within complex application environments. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting and capable of both manual and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities
Perform data mapping and data validation testing, including source-to-target reconciliation and field-level accuracy checks.
Execute integration and migration testing across multiple applications and systems.
Validate APIs, batch jobs, and file-based integrations (CSV, XML, JSON).
Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and automated test scripts as required.
Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria, proactively identifying gaps, edge cases, and downstream impacts.
Execute SQL queries to validate backend data and troubleshoot defects.
Log, track, and manage defects using test management and defect tracking tools.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, data teams, and other stakeholders.
Support testing across multiple projects simultaneously in an agile environment.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
Strong experience in:
Data mapping and data validation testing
Integration and migration testing
Solid SQL skills for backend and database validation.
Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman or similar.
Hands-on experience with manual testing and exposure to test automation frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think beyond documented test cases.
Experience working with Jira, qTest, or similar test management tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing systems in the insurance domain (claims, policy, enrollment, billing).
Exposure to ETL processes, batch processing, or large-scale data migrations.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Automation experience using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, or equivalent.
