Senior Infrastructure Director / ArchitectOverview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Director / Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, and operations of enterprise infrastructure within a large-scale global environment.

The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-on technical expertise across infrastructure technologies with strong leadership capabilities at the director level, including team management and the ability to drive enterprise infrastructure transformation initiatives.

This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional and cross-regional teams, ensuring the stability of day-to-day operations while defining and executing the future infrastructure roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Architecture & Design

Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise infrastructure solutions across multiple technology platforms.
Provide strategic direction across key infrastructure domains, including:
Voice & Unified Communications
Network Infrastructure
Wintel / Windows Server environments
Microsoft Azure
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Microsoft 365 / Office 365
Storage and Backup platforms
Linux environments
End User Computing (EUC)

Leadership & Strategy

Serve as the Infrastructure Leader at a Director level, driving infrastructure modernization and operational excellence.
Partner with global business and technology leaders to support:
Infrastructure strategy and roadmap development
Critical incident management
Strategic transformation initiatives
Provide architectural governance and technical advisory leadership across infrastructure initiatives.

Operations & Governance

Oversee infrastructure operations to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
Review and approve infrastructure architecture designs and deployments.
Coordinate and manage third-party vendors and service providers.
Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure engineering teams.
Provide knowledge transfer and technical mentorship to client project teams.
Support the growth and development of internal technical capabilities.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding infrastructure roadmap, project status, risks, and progress.
Align infrastructure strategies with business objectives and global IT initiatives.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Deliverables

Infrastructure architecture and operational documentation
Process design, workflow development, and improvement initiatives
Mentorship and knowledge transfer to client teams
Participation in project deliverables across assigned technical domains
Support for data conversion and maintenance activities
Delivery of industry best practices and standards
Development of innovative infrastructure solutions
Contribution as both technical leader and hands-on contributor when required

Required Experience

15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure
Proven experience in Director-level or Senior Infrastructure leadership roles
Strong hands-on technical expertise in enterprise infrastructure environments

Willingness and ability to travel internationally (Europe) for the first 1-2 months
