Job Role

Working in the IT Programme Management team, the graduate Systems/ Business Analyst role is to work with the Vinci Construction delegations, clients, suppliers, stakeholders, and IT department to recognise and capture current and upcoming technological requirements; to lead on technological solution designs that are integrated, future-proof and meet all ‘must have’ business requirements.

Supporting the Project Proposal process with the analysis of existing and new solutions and ensuring that all ICT development is in line with the ICT strategy and governance procedures.

Responsibilities

As part of the programme, you will develop skills in different areas around Business Analysis and PM functions, such as

Collaboration with the VINCI UK businesses, Subject Matter Experts, clients, partners, suppliers, and the IT team to evaluate and design IT solutions
Develop a high-level understanding of all UK solutions currently in place and ensure the use of existing solutions and standard approaches
Understand new requirements and recommend solutions that fit with business needs, and well-governed IT environments
Elicit the business functional and non-functional requirements in low- level detail and document them using appropriate company templates
Technology and software assessments, validating data integrity, security and ‘Data Protection’ aspects in conjunction with other team members.
Develop, test and implement suitable integrations with other solutions
Liaise with end users, internal stakeholders and external service providers to gain insights to enhance technology, develop innovative solutions and service offerings
Communicate with people at all levels to help people understand technology solutions and services
Research and learn about new and evolving technologies and their relevance to our business
Write and deliver training workshops, sessions, materials, and presentations.
Contribute to the requirement analysis improvements by developing best practices and tools

Person Specification

Predicted (or achieved) 2:1 Degree in Computing or Data-related degree
Awareness of Microsoft 365 products and services.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
