Our Credit Risk Internship has been designed so that you can understand what a career with LSEG would really be like.
As an intern, you will join one of our flagship trading services – LCH SA, a leading global clearing house providing clearing services to international clients.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you should be a master’s student either in a gap year or interested in completing an end-of-studies internship, enrolled in a degree in financial with a background in economics.
We will work with you during the recruitment process to understand your strengths and interests to determine the right pathway for you.
The Credit Risk Intern role responsibilities include:
Rate a portfolio of banks, brokers, sovereigns, sub‑sovereigns, and supranational institutions
Run daily market monitoring (macroeconomic indicators, sovereign bonds, CDS, equities, etc.)
Monitor political and economic developments in the EU, US, UK, and Asia

Excellent understanding of financial statements of financial institutions.
Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
A demonstrable interest in financial markets and the banking sector
You will need to show excellent English written and verbal communication skills; French is a plus.
Extensive use of Microsoft Office and other technology tools, and have an interest in learning financial data tools
Prior exposure to credit analysis or financial analysis (rating agency, investment banking, financial institution groups, risk, sovereign advisory) is a plus.
Python, VBA, SQL or database skills are an advantage.

Recruitment Process:
The first stage of the recruitment process involves making an application and submitting your resume.
The next stage of the application process is an untimed Immersive Online Assessment. The assessment is designed to give you an insight into what it’s like to work at LSEG
The second stage is a video interview where you will answer a series of questions using a strength-based-interview style
The final stage is a half day assessment centre which involves several different types of exercises – further information is provided at the point of invite.

Les responsabilités du stagiaire en gestion des risques de crédit incluent :
Noter un portefeuille de banques, courtiers, États, collectivités locales et institutions supranationales
Effectuer une surveillance quotidienne du marché (indicateurs macroéconomiques, obligations d’État, CDS, actions, etc.)
Suivre les évolutions politiques et économiques dans l’UE, aux États-Unis, au Royaume-Uni et en Asie
Profil recherché

Excellente compréhension des états financiers des institutions financières.
Solides compétences analytiques, tant quantitatives que qualitatives.
