Position: Fullstack Developer (React/Node.js)

Type: Full-time

Compensation: $230K–$280K/year

Location: Remote

Commitment: 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Design and own end-to-end fullstack systems supporting core product workflows.
Architect and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js (preferably NestJS).
Build high-performance frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and long-term data models using PostgreSQL.
Collaborate with product and design teams to translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready systems.
Maintain system reliability by debugging production issues and improving observability.
Establish and uphold engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
Make strategic trade-offs between speed, scalability, and correctness in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Strong experience building and owning production-grade fullstack systems.
Proficiency in TypeScript across frontend and backend environments.
Solid backend experience with Node.js (NestJS preferred).
Experience building frontend applications using React.
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs at scale.
Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, or distributed systems.
Knowledge of Redis, queues, or asynchronous job processing systems.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.
