Salesforce Technical Architect (FSL)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect with hands-on experience in Field Service Lightning (FSL) to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions for our client. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong client interaction skills, and the ability to drive strategic platform decisions within complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand service operations, business needs, and technical requirements
Architect scalable and robust Salesforce FSL solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards
Lead the end-to-end design of Salesforce applications including service territories, work rules, scheduling policies, and mobile workforce setup
Integrate Salesforce FSL with third-party systems (e.g., ERP, IoT platforms, legacy systems) using APIs, Mulesoft, or middleware
Guide development teams on best practices, coding standards, and Salesforce development methodologies
Conduct architecture reviews and technical walkthroughs
Own the solution blueprint, data model, and technical documentation
Ensure system scalability, performance, and security compliance as per enterprise standards
Provide technical leadership during UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support
Collaborate with Salesforce COE and cross-functional teams
Mentor and guide junior developers and technical leads
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in the Salesforce platform
3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL)
Expertise in FSL components: service territories, work types, service resources, scheduling policies, dispatcher console, mobile configuration
Experience in Salesforce Lightning, Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and integration patterns
Knowledge of industrial field service domain is a strong plus
Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data model, and multitenant architecture
Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and IoT platforms is a plus
Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification preferred
Salesforce Field Service Consultant certification is a plus
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
