Role: Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst – ServiceNow SAM Pro

Location: New York, New York,

Primary Skill : Fault Management - ServiceNow, Software Asset Management, ITIL

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst to support software license tracking, compliance, and optimization activities using ServiceNow SAM Pro.

The ideal candidate will work closely with IT, Procurement, and Vendor Management teams to ensure software assets are properly managed, compliant, and cost-optimized across the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of ServiceNow platform

• Hands-on or exposure to ServiceNow SAM Pro module

• Understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM) concepts

• Familiarity with licensing models:

o Per user

o Per device

o Subscription-based

Data & Tools

• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, reporting)

• Ability to analyze large datasets and generate insights

Process Knowledge

• Knowledge of ITIL framework

• Basic understanding of CMDB and IT Asset Management (ITAM)
