The Role

The successful Year 2 Teacher will play a key role in supporting pupils through their final year of Key Stage 1, ensuring they build the confidence and academic skills needed for their transition into Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities Include

Planning structured and engaging Year 2 lessons
Supporting literacy, phonics and numeracy development
Creating a positive and well managed classroom environment
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Working closely with colleagues to support pupil success

The School is Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
Strong classroom management skills
A positive and engaging teaching style
Commitment to delivering high quality lessons
