$180,000 – $230,000 + Equity

A venture-backed AI Startup is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build next-generation technology designed to improve safety across frontline workplaces - this is a mission driven business and your work will save lives! This Startup develops a platform using React, TypeScript, and AWS to combine AI-native software, real-time location technology, and connected hardware.

Founded in 2024, this fast-growing Startup is tackling a large and rapidly expanding workplace safety market. Software Engineers will build scalable systems on AWS, develop user interfaces in React, and write robust applications in TypeScript.

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with founders at an early-stage Startup to ship features using React and TypeScript, while scaling AWS infrastructure. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to shape product and technical direction.

Responsibilities

Build and ship features using React and TypeScript
Scale and optimise systems on AWS
Develop high-performance React frontends
Write clean, scalable code in TypeScript
Deploy and maintain services on AWS

Hard Requirements

4+ years’ experience as a full-stack Software Engineer
Experience working in a Startup environment, building 0-1
Strong experience working with TypeScript and React.
Proven ability to build and deploy applications on AWS

Compensation

Basic Salary: $180,000 – $230,000 base salary depending on experience

Equity: 0.1–0.5%

Additional Details

Full-time position
5 days per week in-office in Flatiron, New York
Healthcare coverage and in-office meals provided
Visa sponsorship available on a case-by-case basis
