We are recruiting a talented and experienced Cloud Engineer to join Public Health Wales Digital Services Cloud team. This role is crucial in maintaining, optimising and securing our cloud environments & infrastructure that support essential healthcare services. You will work with Azure cloud technologies, ensuring reliability, scalability and performance whilst maintaining compliance with NHS Wales security and governance standards.
You will be working alongside other technical service teams and report to the 365 Engineering Lead. The Cloud Engineer is a new, permanent role at Public Health Wales that will help contribute to the delivery of our cloud strategy.
Appropriate training plans will be provided for successful candidates to cloud based roles to enhance existing skills and knowledge.

As Cloud Engineer, you will help shape our Azure cloud environments and assist in the delivery of associated roadmaps & strategies for Public Health and NHS Wales as we continue to invest in our digital capability.
Manage and support Azure resources and environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Provide specialist IT technical knowledge to maintain, enhance, and secure the Trust's cloud infrastructure for clinical and non-clinical systems.
Act as a subject matter expert, leading implementation, knowledge transfer, and documentation to support team capability.
