Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Clinical Research Nursewith relevant experience to join our team of respiratory research nurses and coordinators at the Royal Brompton Cardiorespiratory Clinical Research Facility. You will be working on a portfolio of respiratory research studies, with a focus on trials in bronchiectasis and lung disease patients.
Main duties of the job
Key job activities will include screening, recruitment, and consenting of eligible patients, arranging clinical assessments of trial participants, data collection and entry, randomisation and organisation of day to day trial activities. This role will involve extensive liaison with both internal and external clinical and research staff and requires attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Job responsibilities
As a Band 5 Clinical Research Nurse, you will be based in the CRF, and will be responsible for the co-ordination of clinical trials across asthma and interstitial lung disease research, carried out in the Clinical Research Facility. This will include the complete life cycle of the research study, from set up to delivery and archiving in parallel with meeting agreed patient recruitment targets.
