About The Team

The GSMA M365 Business Applications team is a dedicated group of specialists responsible for our entire M365 ecosystem. We manage multiple M365 and Azure environments, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our 700 staff members and thousands of client users on our Membership platform. The M365 team is part of the wider IT Applications team who manage the GSMA’s core platforms; M365, Salesforce and Workday. The team have specialists in each area ensuring system availability and constant development & innovation are maintained for GSMA’s key processes.

About The Role

In this role, you'll be designing, building, and implementing solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies. You'll be the technical expert, leading development and automation projects for both our external Member platform and our internal systems within the Microsoft 365 environment.

You'll work closely with the M365 Lead to make sure solutions are aligned with GSMA's goals and meet the needs of our stakeholders. Using your expertise in SharePoint Online, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps), you'll analyse business challenges, gather requirements and turn them into user-friendly solutions that help the GSMA thrive.

Your Responsibilities

Develop full-stack solutions using current web technologies (e.g. SPFX, React.js, REST APIs) to create robust applications within SharePoint and M365.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Automate and other tools to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
Build custom Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) to streamline processes, creating automated workflows with Power Automate and developing integrations with Azure Logic Apps
Understand, maintain and improve existing PowerShell & Microsoft Graph automation scripts
Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyse needs, gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Analyse existing solutions to identify areas for improvement and automate business processes.
Work with suppliers to maintain and support new and existing deployed solutions
Proactively monitor and evaluate changes to the M365 and Azure platforms, assessing impacts and opportunities, and mitigating against future technical debt.
Customise SharePoint sites, pages, web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, and document management features.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, including AI/Copilot and Copilot Studio and explore their potential applications.

About You

You will have extensive experience designing, developing, and deploying custom SharePoint solutions using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), including web parts, applications, and workflows.
You will have proven experience with Power Automate and Power Apps.
You will be proficient in JavaScript, React.js, TypeScript, PowerShell, PNP and CSS.
You will have a solid understanding of REST APIs and the Microsoft Graph API and ability to leverage them to integrate SharePoint with other systems.
You will be proficient with PowerShell scripting for automating tasks and managing SharePoint environments.
You will have experience with Azure, including logic apps, function apps and managed identities.
You will have experience using version control and CI/CD tools, e.g. GitHub, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
You will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset and able to work independently and as part of a team.
You will have demonstrable experience in supporting non-technical users and interpreting their requirements into functional specifications.
You will be highly flexible & customer focused.
