Job Description:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester Level III with 2 to 5 years of experience in manual or standard testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Python and some exposure to automation testing. This role will ensure the quality and functionality of streaming music platforms, particularly on mobile devices running iOS, MacOS, Android, Linux, and UNIX systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of experience in manual or standard testing methodologies.
Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation purposes.
Basic understanding of automation testing frameworks and tools, API or UI
Familiarity with streaming music platforms and mobile devices (iOS, MacOS, Android).
Knowledge of Linux and/or UNIX operating systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of streaming music applications on various platforms (iOS, MacOS, Android, Linux, UNIX).
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various testing phases (functional, regression, integration, etc.).
Identify, document, and track defects and issues using a defect-tracking tool.
Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and requirements.
Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python to enhance testing efficiency.
Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects and provide comprehensive documentation.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and test case review sessions.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and provide recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Experience with audio or media streaming technologies.

We have an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team in a unique environment to prepare for and commission a new, state-of-the-art facility to produce propellants for use in rocket motors and ejection systems. The successful candidate will work through the pre-commissioning phase with the wider team to prepare associated documentation, such as hazard studies, commissioning plans/procedures, operating instructions/procedures, and risk assessments. Time may be spent working with process engineers in the current facility to provide knowledge and understanding of the current process to support this. During the commissioning phase, the candidate will be responsible for certain elements within the process and will share responsibility for delivery of both inert and live (using energetic materials) commissioning with the wider team. This facility is one-of-a-kind, so will present unique challenges and will require individuals to apply who enjoy problem solving and working with a wide array of stakeholders, including regulators, internal stakeholders, HSE, suppliers, design teams, and consultancy. Key Accountabilities & Duties: Carry out all activities in full compliance with H&SE legislation, within company policy and procedure. Responsible for reporting any unsafe acts or unsafe conditions observed (using the Incident Reporting System) in accordance with responsibilities under the Health and Safety at work Act.
