Licensed Animal Technician
Are you an experienced Animal Technician looking for your next opportunity in a world-class research facility? We’re seeking a skilled professional to join a leading organisation dedicated to advancing scientific discovery.
Role:
You will play a vital role in supporting preclinical research by providing high-quality care to laboratory animals and assisting in essential procedures. Working within a dynamic team, you will contribute to the refinement of research techniques while ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare.
Key Requirements:
Home Office License (PIL A-B) is essential; PIL C is highly desirable
Experience with rats is required, experience with mice is desirable
Proven expertise in husbandry and animal care
Competence in handling, oral gavage, and blood sampling
Experience with IV injections would be a strong advantage
Surgical experience and knowledge of IVIS imaging are beneficial
