About the Role
We are looking for a Senior BI Manager to lead and drive the successful delivery of Power BI-based data projects within a global marketing environment. This role requires someone with strong experience in scoping, planning, and deploying BI workloads for large teams of BI leads and developers. You will be responsible for managing multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and optimising BI solutions for effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of Power BI projects within the global marketing data landscape.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Oversee the deployment of BI workloads, ensuring seamless integration with data sources.
Manage and coordinate a team of BI leads, developers, and analysts across multiple projects.
Optimise data modelling, ETL processes, and report performance within Power BI.
Establish best practices for BI development, governance, and data quality.
Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Ensure the BI strategy aligns with the organisation’s broader marketing analytics goals.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and data integrity issues.
Provide mentorship and guidance to the team, fostering a collaborative data culture.

Essential Skills & Experience
Proven track record of delivering large-scale Power BI projects in a global organisation.
Strong experience in scoping, planning, and deploying BI workloads for large teams.
Expertise in data modelling, DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL for enterprise BI solutions.
Experience with AWS, or Azure Data Services is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of marketing data analytics, including campaign performance, customer segmentation, and attribution modelling.
Ability to work with structured and unstructured data, integrating multiple data sources.
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or similar certification.
Experience working with large-scale marketing datasets, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and digital marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
Previous experience in a consulting environment or working with external clients.

Contract Details
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Hybrid - London Office
Rate: Competitive (FTC salary or day rate)
